Watched this film again recently and really appreciate what a great film it is. Martin Scorsese has some great insights in this interview:
"Loneliness has followed me my whole life. Everywhere...in bars, in cars, sidewalks, stores, everywhere. There's no escape. I'm God's lonely man... "
